Kyle Anders (St. Charles West, 2014) is an athletic 6-foot-1, 185 pound left-handed outfielder and pitcher. Anders hits the low-80's on the gun from the mound. Offensively, he shows a repeatable left-handed swing, with good rhythm, loose hands and good bat control.
We talked to him about his recruiting process and where we might see him in 2015.
PBR: What schools are interested in you?
Anders: To date, the schools that have expressed interest in me are Lindenwood, University of St. Charles, Central Oklahoma University, and Evansville.
PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future? If so, what schools, and how recently?
Anders: I took a visit to Lindenwood University during the spring, it was a great campus with nice facilities and good academics. I also took a visit to Central Arkansas in the spring. The city of Conway was a good college town and a place where it would be nice to continue playing college baseball.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?
Anders: When looking at colleges I am looking for high academics and a baseball program that is committed to making me the best player that I can be.
PBR: How did you do your junior year?
Anders: My junior year was very successful. Our team had nine wins and I accounted for four of them on the mound. Also, I was selected as a first team all-conference outfielder.

Anders: My goals for my senior season is lead St. Charles West to a district title, be named player of the year in out conference, and hit over .350.
