Adam Kopff (St. Mary's, 2018) attended the Unsigned Senior Showcase on Oct. 1 in St. Louis. Here is a look inside the recruiting process for Adam Kopff.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
Kopff: I am looking for a school that will be a good fit for me both academically and athletically. Also, I am looking for a school that has a degree in athletic training or sports management.
PBR: How did you do your junior year? What were your high school statistics? And how did your team do?
Kopff: Junior year was a little bit of a struggle for me after coming off a solid sophomore season. I finished my high school season with a .232 batting average, 1 HR, and 13 RBI and on the mound I finished with a 3-0 record, 2.57 ERA, and 23 K. Our team won districts but lost in the next round to eventual state runner ups, Lutheran South.
PBR: What are you goals for your senior season?
Kopff: My personal goals for my senior season is to make All-Conference but our team goals are to win our conference and make it to state.
PBR: What travel team do you play for? Are you playing fall ball with a team?
Kopff: In the summer I play with the St. Louis Dirtbags. I am not playing with a team this fall because I play high school soccer.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
Kopff: Yes, I currently play soccer for my school
PBR: What are your ACT and GPA?
Kopff: My ACT is a 22 and my GPA is a 3.44.
