Missouri Top Stories of 2016: #5 Preseason All-State East Instant Analysis

Coming in at the number five spot in our countdown of the top twenty stories of 2016, the Preseason All-State East Instant Analysis comes in at number five. 

The Preseason All-State East was held in February at All-Star Performance in St. Louis.  The event featured six pitchers at 85 mph or better, five players with an 84 mph infield velo or better, seven players with 86 mph outfield velo or better and four catchers with pop times below 2.0.

On Monday, February 15, Prep Baseball Report-Missouri held the Preseason All-State Showcase East at All-Star Sports in St. Louis, Missouri.  Over 75 players from the region participated.  The showcase was mostly players in the 2017 class, but some from the 2018 and 209 class joined the group.

Players profiles will be updated with velocities, times, video and profile picture over the next several week.  Although the following numbers don't tell the entire story, here is a look at the leaders in several categories.
