#5 Vianney 4, #9 Marquette 3
Marquette broke a scoreless tie in the sixth inning when Covert hit a one-out double to spark a rally.  Daniel Covert later scored on a Tyler Wood single to make the score 3-0 going into the seventh.  Ryan Knernschield and Neil Fischer led off the Vianney 7th with back-to-back singles.  After a bases loaded walk to Brendan Madden, Chris Cornelius hit a two-run double with two outs to tie the game at 3-3. Then, Nick Allgeyer work a walk to load the bases and a few pitchers later Madden scored on a pass ball to earn the 4-3 walk off win.  Jake Hemphill went all seven on the mound for Vianney, surrendering two earned runs on five hits with three strikeouts.  Covert went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple an a run scored to lead Marquette. 

Francis Howell 3, SLUH 2 (10 inn.)
Austin Johnson's RBI single that scored Ryan Perkins in the 10th inning sent Francis Howell to the Final Four in walk off fashion.  Justin Perkins got the Vikings on the board in the first inning when he singled and scored to give Francis Howell a 1-0 lead.  SLUH got the game tied a 1-1 in the top of the third when Nathan Schweppe scored on an error, but Howell came right back in the bottom half of the inning with an RBI double from Eli Dilday to regain the lead at 2-1.  Joseph Warnecke led off the top of fifth with a triple for SLUH, and later scored on John Ceriotti sacrifice fly to tie the game at 2-2.  The score remained tied until Justin Perkins led off the 10th with a double that set the table for Johnson's heroics.  John Brinkman threw eight solid inning for SLUH, allowing two earned runs on four hits with four strikeouts.  Braydon Cook went seven innings for Howell, surrendering one earned run on four hits with four strikeouts. 

Rock Bridge 5, #4 Nixa 4
Rock Bridge jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning on back-to-back RBI singles by Logan Twehous and Matt Widhalm.  Eric Kuse added an RBI double in the fourth to extend the lead to 4-0 and the Bruins tacked on another in the top of the sixth to make it 5-0.  But, a two-run double by Karlson in the bottom of the sixth sparked a four-run rally.  Twehous struck out the side for Rock Bridge in the seventh to send the Bruins to the Final Four. Twehous allowed three earned runs on three this with seven strikeouts in seven inning for Rock Bridge. 


Blue Springs South 7, #6 Staley 2
Staley took an early 1-0 lead in the first, when Conrad McMahon singled and scored. But, Blue Spring South put four on the board in the bottom of the third and never looked back, claiming a 7-2 win and trip to the state Final Four.  Austin Simms carried the load on the mound for the Jaguars throwing a complete game.  He allowed no earned runs on nine hits and struck out six.  Colton Pogue and Patrick Lemberger each had two hits and a combined three RBI.  Jack Duffy, Cody Nutt, and Levi McLaughlin each had two hits for Staley.

#1 Westminster 2, #2 Notre Dame 1
Westminster's Collin Einertson RBI double in the third inning gave the Wildcats a 2-0 lead, and held on to win 2-1 to advance to the state's Final Four in a wild finish.  Einertson threw out the tying run at the plate to end the game that preserved the 2-1 for Wildcats.
