Class 5

#3 Lee's Summit West 10, Raymore-Peculiar 3
Ray-Pec jumped out to a 1-0 lead after the first inning, but Lee's Summit West rallied for nine runs in the bottom of the third to cruise to a 10-3 win.  Monte Harrison went 3-for-3 with a triple and three runs scored, while Logan Geha added two hits and two RBI.  Carson Pickard got in on the offensive action for the Titans, adding two hits, a run and an RBI.  Alex Lange struck out 14, walked six and allowed two earned runs on seven hits to earn the win.  Evan Rathburn and Josh Fultz each had two hits and a run for Ray-Pec.

Francis Howell 11, Washington 9
Washington jumped out to a 6-0 lead after the first inning and added another run in the top of the third and looked to be in good shape with a 7-0 lead in the fourth.  Howell rallied for seven runs in the bottom of the fourth and three more in the fifth to claim an 11-9 win for the district championship.  Nic Perkins doubled twice and drove in three runs, while little brother Ryan Perkins homered and drove in two for Francis Howell.  Brendan Trimble went 3-for-4 and scored two runs for the Vikings.   Austin Forney worked 4.2 innings allowing three runs on six hits with three strikeouts and three walks to earn the win. 

Rock Bridge 5, Jefferson City 0
Logan Twehous went 2-for-4 with a double and a run, and went 6.2 innings on the mound allowing no earned runs on three hits with nine strikeouts to lead Rock Bridge to its 5th consecutive district championship.  Mike Buxton added a 2-for-2 day for Rock Bridge with a double and a pair of RBI. Hayden Strobel went 2-for-3 for Jefferson City.

#2 Notre Dame 12, Kennett 1
Luke Haines and Josh Haggerty each hit a home run to help lead Notre Dame to 12-1 victory over Kennett and a district championship. Graham Ruopp surrendered one earned run on two hits with nine strikeouts to earn with win.

Bishop LeBlond 2, Maryville 0
Trey Hartman allowed no runs in seven innings of work with three strikeouts to earn the win for Bishop LeBlond.  Jarret Cronin struckout four, walked three and allowed one earned run on four hits in six innings for Maryville.

McKaulley Stephenson went the distance striking out seven and surrendering one run on six hits to earn the win for West Platte

#3 Oran 1, Advance 0
Jacob Priggel got the game-winning hit in the eighth inning to give Oran the district championship.  Seth Ressel went eight innings allowing no runs on two hits with five strikeouts to earn the win.  B. Whitson tossed a complete game with eight strikeouts, surrendering no earned runs on five hits in the loss for Advance.
