Class 5
Fort Zumwalt West 15, #3 Francis Howell 7
The Fort Zumwalt offense stayed hot. After scoring 13 runs yesterday in a loss, the Jaguars crushed 16 hits in a 15-7 win over Francis Howell. Zack Smith went 2-for-3 with a double and four RBI, while Danny Sevtina added two doubles and three RBI. Brandon Gabler got the win for the Jags working five innings, allowing seven runs on 11 hits, striking out two and walking four. Francis Howell Tanner Kupla went 2-for-3 with a triple and scored two runs.
Staley 18, Belton 3
Belton grabbed the early lead until Staley started to pile on the runs in the third. After the Pirates scored a run in the bottom of the first, the Falcons answered with one in the second, three in the third, and six in the fourth. Conrad McMahon, Levi McLaughlin, Cody Nutt, and Matt Danbury all had multi-hit games for Staley. Johnny Scavvuzzo crossed the plate four times in the contest. Logan Sight tossed four plus innings allowing three earned runs with six strikeouts and one walk. Tucker Perkins and Jacob Benson both picked up two hits for Belton.
Chaminade 15, Parkway West 7
Chaminade broke a scoreless tie with four runs in the third. Parkway West responded with two runs in the third and five in the fourth inning. The Chaminade Red Devils did not stop with their won offensive pressure combining as a team for 15 run and 15 hits. After a freak injury to Kurt Thurman in the pregame infield, freshman John Bischoff got the surprise start at shortstop. Bischoff answered the call by going 4-for-4 with three walks and scoring four runs. Aaron Laskowski, Andrew Rockamann, MIchael Schwarze and Same Frelich had mult hit games for the Red Devils. Parkway West got big offensive production form David Baranski, Matt Blake and Johnny Galvin.
Jefferson City 4, Waynseville 0
The Jefferson City arms silenced Waynesville’s bats. Adam Grunden, Jacob Weirich, and Blaine Meyer combined for the one hit shutout. The trio combined to throw 88 pitches, 60 for strikes. Jackson Walker had a good game at the plate going 2-for-3 for the Jays. Waynesville pitcher Phillip Holmes went four plus innings allowing only one earned run. Darek Wood had the lone hit for Waynesville.
Marquette 14, Eureka 6
Matt Scheibel went two-for-two with home run and five RBI to help Marquette get past Eureka 14-6. The Mustangs pounded the Eureka pitching for 14 runs on 13 hits. Tristan Johnson added a pair of hits including a double with two RBI. Sean McCracken earned the win for Marquette working four innings allowing just two earned runs with two strikouts and four walks.
Fort Osage 17, Chrisman 0
Fort Osage got a home run from Ryan Toliver and a pair of doubles from Aron Greer in an easy 17-0 win over Chrisman. Jamison Raines got the complete-game win for the Indians allowing just two hit and striking out ten with two walks.

Oran tied the game in the sixth inning with a four run rally. Preston Hahn scored game winner in the seventh to earn a 7-6 win over Scott City. Hunter Schlosser and Biran Huering each went 2-for-3, while Preston Hahn added a double and scored three runs. Seth Ressel went 5.1 innings to get the win allowing six runs on ten hits with five strikeouts and a walk.
