Cory Canterbury (Christian HS, 2014) is a 5-foot-10 155-pound C/OF. Last season he batted .536, had a slugging percentage of .707 and on base percentage of .648. He led his team to a 19-7 record and a district championship. Although he was injured for the first half of the season, he was still named first team all conference.
Canterbury was a member of the 2012 Futures Games for Team Missouri, and is ranked #22 in Missouri. The uncommitted senior runs a 6.97 60, a 2.05 pop time and a position velo of 78. Canterbury also has the versatility to play the outfield, showing a velocity of 88 mph. At the plate, the versatile right-handed hitter has good barrel whip, that generated backspin carry to all fields.
He is looking to enter a school with a good business program and has a 2.8 GPA with a 21 ACT.
