Evaluation: 7/8/15- 5-foot-9, 145-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.19 runner. Double tap load. Stays on baseball through contact. Pull approach with solid contact to pull side of field. 76 mph exit velocity off tee. Above average OF actions with good energy and ability to field. 1-piece arm action. Elevated throws to plate. 74 mph arm strength. 1-piece arm action. Solid direction and lands closed to plate. Hand is underneath fastball on release causing flat action. Fastball was 68-71 mph; touching 74 mph. Shows solid feel for curveball with good shape and 12/6 break at 60-63 mph. Tumbling action on changeup at 62-65 mph.
PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
GEORGE: Harding University, University of Northwestern-St. Paul, Wheaton College, Bethel.
PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
GEORGE: I have visited several schools, mostly to attend Prospect Camps that they invited me to.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
GEORGE: I am interested in going to a Christian school.
PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
GEORGE: I had a strong year statistically- .609 AVG, .670 OBP, .855 SLG%, 53 hits, 21 SB.
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
GEORGE: My goals for this year are to steal more bases and get stronger so that I can hit for more power.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
GEORGE: I play soccer and basketball.
PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
GEORGE: I have a 32 ACT and a 4.19 GPA.
