Evaluation:  8/20/16- 6-foot-1, 175-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. Lean athletic build. Back turn delivery, long clean arm action, aggressive down mound, ball comes out clean from high ¾ slot. Fastball has life and above avg. run at 81-83 mph. Maintains arm speed on breaking ball with solid 12/6 curveball with late break. Cut action on changeup with above avg. sink. 7.44 runner. Flat bat setup, body load, aggressive inline swing, gap to gap approach, consistent hard line drive contact, 86 mph exit velocity. Good hands and feet, creates direction on throws, works through ball well, solid accuracy with occasional elevated throws, 83 mph arm from outfield. Previously un-ranked; Evenson will make a serious push into the MN 2017 Rankings.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
EVENSON: I have received interest from North Dakota State, Minnesota-Duluth, Northern Illinois, University of Mary, Upper Iowa, Bucknell, Minnesota-Crookston, Century College, DMACC, DCTC; along with other Juco and D3 institutions.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
EVENSON: Yes, I have visited NDSU, Minnesota-Duluth, Century College and DMACC. I am still debating on other schools to visit.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
EVENSON: I'm looking for a school with a great location as well as a strong business program and a competitive baseball team.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
EVENSON: My highlights include All-Conference, All-Section, All-State Tournament Team, as well as breaking our school record for Hits in a season and RBI's in a season. My favorite highlight by far though was winning the state tournament for Legion as well as High School Baseball, bringing home our first baseball state championship and getting to play at Target Field.

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 
EVENSON: Keep training hard and improve everyday so we can repeat as state champions.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
EVENSON: I play hockey.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
EVENSON: My ACT score is 24 and I have a 3.84 GPA.
