Q&A With Uncommitted 2015: Jeremy Thorson (Sauk Rapids)

Jeremy Thorson, RHP/SS, Sauk Rapids, Class of 2015

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
THORSON: I have received interest from Hamline, Minnesota- Duluth, St. Cloud State, Minnesota- Morris and Dakota County Technical College.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
THORSON: I toured Duluth and liked the school and the city. I have also visited University of Minnesota and St. Thomas University. I am planning to visit 6 more schools next month.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
THORSON: I am looking for good academics and a campus with many activities to participate in.

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
THORSON: First win as a pitcher and the experience I gained during playoffs.

PBR: What are your goals for this year?
THORSON: Find a school that meets my academic requirements; and one that I can also contribute to the baseball program.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
THORSON: I play quarterback in football and am a team captain. I also play small forward on the basketball team.

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
THORSON: My ACT is a 28 and GPA is 3.60; I’ve also completed a number of AP courses.
