Evaluation: 6-foot, 180-pound left-handed hitting corner player. 7.2 runner. Good balance and direction in swing. Consistent solid contact to pull side of field with flashes of pop in bat. 84 mph exit velocity off tee. Shows solid feet and hands at first base. Solid around bag. Makes routine plays. 71 mph arm strength across infield. Avg. actions in outfield. Glove is solid. Loses direction with feet on throws. Opens early with elevated throws to plate. 74 mph arm strength from outfield.

PBR: Why did you choose Southwest Minnesota State?
PETER: I chose Southwest Minnesota State University because they have great academics and a baseball program I feel I can be successful in.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?
PETER: University of St. Thomas and St. Mary's University.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
PETER: They saw me play in a high school section playoff game. After that, I received a text from one of the coaches to set up a visit.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?
PETER: Yes, I feel relieved that I have made a decision and now I can focus on baseball and school this winter and spring.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?
PETER: The factor that put it over the top from the other options was that they play in the NSIC which is a very competitive conference.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
PETER: My parents have helped me the most over the years and supported me through my decisions.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?
PETER: I expected the recruiting process to be a long and hard process, which is was at times, but once I started talking to SMSU it became very easy.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?
PETER: I am not sure what plans they have for me for the freshman season but I am very excited to get down on campus and find out.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?
PETER: My most memorable moment in baseball so far is winning the Sub-State Legion Tournament on our home field and getting the opportunity of playing in the Legion State Tournament.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?
PETER: I would have to say the best player I have competed against over the years is Jeff Athey from Eden Prairie.
