Woodbury 8 East Ridge 1
Woodbury opened their season with a decisive win against East Ridge. Woodbury collected 9 hits in the contest; led by a huge day at the plate by junior Sebastian Holte-Mancera who went 4 for 4 with 4 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Holte-Mancera had 2 doubles and 2 home runs. Junior Brady Mundahl was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, 2 runs scored, and 4 RBI's as well. The winning pitcher was 2015 Jacob Dickmeyer who pitched 7 innings, allowing 5 hits, 1 run, 0 walks and 7 strikeouts in a complete game effort. East Ridge's Sam Cobbs produced the lone run with a solo home run in the third inning.

Wabasha-Kellogg 4 Saint Charles 3
The Falcons scored on a passed ball in the top of the 10th for the winning run. Both teams had chances to score in the 8th, 9th and 10th innings. Wabasha's Jackson Gosse, Michael Guidinger, Cooper Holtorf and Liam Balschko each collected 2 hits in a winning effort. Ryan Wolfe was the winning pitcher; throwing 3 2/3 innings of scoreless relief allowing 2 hits, striking out 4 and wiggled away from 5 base on balls.
