Prior Lake 3 Rosemount 1
In a pitchers duel; Prior Lake's Nick Hanson struck out 16 batters in 6 innings to lead the Lakers over Rosemount 3-1. In total Hanson threw 6 innings allowing 2 hits, 1 unearned run, 1 walk, and 16 strikeouts. Lucas Pumper picked up the save with 1 inning of hitless relief picking up 2 strikeouts. Nick Raddatz was 1-2 with a walk and 2 RBI's. Rosemount's Nathan Sprouls pitched well in the defeat going 6 innings, allowing 4 hits, 3 runs, 3 walks and striking out 7 batters.
Simley 4 Henry Sibley 2
Zack Langton went 2-3 with a run scored, Michael Busch added a double, and Travis Conoryea hit a homerun with 2 RBI's to beat Henry Sibley Wednesday 4-2. Henry Sibley's Max Buel and Hugo Muro each went 2-3 in the contest. Josh Pate threw a complete game going 7 innings, allowing 5 hits and 2 runs.
Totino-Grace 11 Robbinsdale Armstrong 1
Joe Johnson, Holtan, and Ben Mezzenga each picked up 2 hits to lead TG's 10-hit attack over Robbinsdale Armstrong. Mezzenga went 2-3 with 1 run scored, 2 doubles, a walk, and 3 RBI's. Armstrong's Troy Ouellette went 2-2 in the game. Max Meyer picked up the win throwing 5 innings of 5 hit ball with 3 strikeouts and allowing 1 unearned run.
Blaine 12 Anoka 2
Blaine scored in every inning except the 5th to beat Anoka 12-2. Tyler Reichenborn went 4-5 with 4 runs scored and 2 RBI's. He also added 3 stolen bases in the game. Shortstop Griffin Fussy went 3-4 with a run scored and 3 RBI's and added 2 stolen bases. Ben Beckman picked up the win on the mound going 6 innings allowing 3 hits, 2 runs, 0 walks and 2 strikeouts.
Wayzata 7 Minnetonka 2
Soomin Song, Reece Smith, Brendan Broady and Cody Goedderz each collected 2 hits to beat Minnetonka 7-2. Broady went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's. Wayzata's Tom Skoro picked up the win on the mound. The left-hander threw 7 innings allowing 2 hits, 2 runs, 2 walks and struck out 11 batters.
Woodbury 6 Park 2
Max Meyer threw a complete game going 7 innings allowing 6 hits, 1 earned run, 0 walks, and collected 7 strikeouts to lead Woodbury over Park 6-2. Sebastian Holte-Mancera went 3-4 with 2 doubles and an RBI. Nick Gehrt and Jacob Dickmeyer added 2 hits each and Gehrt had 2 RBI's. Andy Weil was on base 3 times and scored 3 runs.
Maple Grove 3 Champlin Park 1
Isaac Collins, Matt Vogl, and Charles Horton each tallied RBI's to push Maple Grove over Champlin Park Wednesday. Junior Brett Schulze threw a gem going 7 innings allowing 3 hits, 1 unearned run, 2 walks and punched out 7 batters in a complete game effort.
Mounds View 3 Cretin-Derham Hall 2
In 9 innings yesterday; Mounds View beat CDH 3-2. Joey Fredrickson hit a double in the 9th to score a runner from second base for the win. Mounds View's Charlie Callahan went 3-4 in the contest and Tyler Fredlund scored 2 runs. Bo Lovdahl picked up the win with 4 innings of scoreless relief; allowing 2 hits.
Eden Prairie 11 Hopkins 1
Eden Prairie scored 6 runs in the 2nd and 4 in the fifth to beat Hopkins on Wednesday 11-1. Josh Miller was 3-4 in the game; and Nebraska commit, 2016 Jeff Athey, was 3-4 with 2 RBI's. Junior RHP Ryan Swanson threw 5 innings allowing no-hits and was dominant on the mound for E.P.
