As we prepare for the upcoming 2015 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

The Hunters bring back 7 starting position players from last year's squad. The question will be if that experience will translate into an improved season in 2015.

2015 OUTLOOK
Denfeld brings back a wealth of experience from their 2014 team. Leading the charge will be 6-foot-3 corner infielder- Nick Thompson. The left-handed hitter is an 2013 and 2014 All-Lake Superior Conference player who hit .400 as a junior. Brody Russell, a 6foot-1 200-pound SS/P also hits left-handed and was an Honorable Mention selection last year hitting .372 as a freshman. Head Coach Calan Fougner has a lot of able bodies and the desire to compete and win is high at Denfeld. The Hunters look for an improved record and ready to tackle the Lake Superior Conference in 2015.
