AR: Fenter Signs, Starts Hot
RHP Gray Fenter (West Memphis HS, AR) generated some buzz this spring when he touched 96 mph. He routinely sat in the low 90s and averaged more than 12 strikeouts per start as a senior. With their seventh-round pick, the Orioles drafted the Mississippi State recruit and signed him for $1 million. He got off to a strong start in pro ball, logging 21.2 innings with a 1.66 ERA while striking out 18.
