The spring season has wrapped up with state champions being decided across the country so we look back at the Players of the Year in each state covered by Prep Baseball Report.
Arkansas: RHP Kasey Ford (Bentonville HS, 2016)
Ford helped lead Bentonville to a state championship on the mound, pitching two complete games in the postseason without allowing a run. On the season, he tossed 67.2 innings and finished with a 1.86 ERA while striking out 96. He has an 88-91 mph fastball and 10/4 slider with gradual break. He’s a big, physical athlete and verbally committed to Kansas State.
