We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Michigan’s Preseason Underclass Showcase West. This was a great opportunity for 2016, '17 and '18 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

Scouting Report: 6-foot, 160-pound prospect. Plus actions at shortstop with footwork and glove. Very quick hands and footwork allow him to get rid of the ball quickly. Threw 83 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.04 60-yard dash. Narrow stance with good separation generating plus bat speed in a middle of the field approach. Bat speed registered at 86 mph.
Brendan Oosse, 1B, East Grand Rapids, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-2, 230-pound prospect. Showed plus actions at first base with soft hands and quick feet. Threw 74 mph across the infield.Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Closed off stance from the left side of the plate, some pop with a controlled aggressive swing. Bat speed registered at 85 mph.
Cade Cintorino, LHP, Kenowa Hills, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-4, 185-pound prospect. ¾ arm action, gets downhill well with his long levers. Fastball had good arm side sink at 78-80 mph. Slider with late break at 65-66 mph. Curveball showed some tilt at 61-63 mph.
Gabe Denton, C, Clare, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 197-pound prospect. Strong bodied catcher with good blocking and receiving. Quick release for a pop time of 2.08-2.15. Ran a 7.89 60-yard dash. Good balance and separation at the plate with plus strength in a pull approach. Bat speed registered at 87 mph.
Jarod Nickel, OF. Kenowa Hills, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-8, 145-pounds. Good actions with footwork and glove in the outfield. Threw 78 mph from the outfield. Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Quick hands in a compact swing to the pull side. Bat speed registered at 78 mph.
Jeff Burch, LHP, Paw Paw, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect. Big strong bodied left-hand pitcher with high-¾ arm slot with some deception. Fastball has arm-side run at 80-82 mph. Curveball is plus out pitch with hard break at 62-68 mph. Changeup was erratic in the strike zone with some sink at 76-77 mph.
Luke Sleeper, LHP, Haslett, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 185-pounds. Athletic long loose levers from the left side of the mound with a high-¾ arm action. Spots fastball well down in the zone at 79-82 mph. Curveball with tight spin and a late break at 69-70 mph. Changeup with arm side sink at 73-74 mph. Quick athletic actions have a high ceiling for Sleeper.
Michael Luker, C/2B, Reeths Puffer, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-5, 130-pounds. Good receiving and blocking skills. Quick release for a pop time of 2.29-2.40. Sound footwork with soft hands at shortstop. Threw 73 mph across the infield. Ran a 8.07 60-yard dash. Closed off stance with a compact swing in a middle to pull approach. Bat speed registered at 67 mph.
