We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Michigan’s Preseason All-State Showcase. This was a great opportunity for 2015, '16 and '17 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories. 

In the coming weeks, we will be adding and updating profiles for each of the players in attendance, including complete analysis and video.

Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect. Quick, ¾ arm action with good tempo on the mound. Fastball was 76-78 mph. Curveball with gradual break at 66-73 mph. Changeup with some sink at 68-70 mph.Soft hands with agile footwork at shortstop. Threw 76 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Open to even stance, good balance in a middle of the field approach at the plate. Bat speed registered at 87 mph.

Alex Kracht, SS/OF, Grosse Pointe North, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 150-pound prospect. Clean actions with footwork and glove in the outfield. Long arm action throwing 73 mph from the outfield. Soft hands with good body control at shortstop. Threw 72 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. No load from the left side of the plate, good plate discipline in a middle to pull approach. Bat speed registered at 78 mph.

Avery Mauer, C/OF, St. Johns, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 210-pound prospect. Creates a big visual target for pitchers, good receiving skills swaying laterally to the baseball keeping the ball in the strike zone. Pop time of 2.02-2.19. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. Open to even stance with plus strength in his bat, ball jumps off his bat to the pull side. Bat speed registered at 91 mph.

Bennett Norry, RHP, Kenowa Hills, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect. Long, high-¾ arm action with good projection Fastball was 82-84 mph. 11/5 curveball with slurve type action at 69-71 mph. Changeup showed some arm-side run at 71-74 mph.

Bo Lineberger, LHP, Rochester Adams, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 190-pound prospect. ¾ arm action with plus control of his three pitches. Fastball was 74-78 mph. Curveball has plus action with late break at 60-61 mph. Changeup has some sink at 68-70 mph.

Brandon Harding, 1B/MIF, John Glenn, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 180-pound prospect. Good fielding approach with good range at first base. Threw 74 mph across the infield. Ran a 8.25 60-yard dash. Tall upright stance, creates good leverage in swing with a bat wrap in a pull approach from the left side of the plate. Bat speed registered at 77 mph.

Cal Livesay, C/OF, Saline, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect.Good setup with strong receiving skills behind the plate, catches with confidence in his ability. Pop time of 1.95-2.14. Showed good actions with footwork and glove in the outfield. Threw 79 mph from the outfield. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Toe tap stride, good strength in his bat in a middle to pull approach. Bat speed registered at 84 mph.

Cameron Brayman, C/3B, Montague, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 190-pound prospect. Strong skills receiving with flexibility in his hips. Pop times of 2.21-2.27. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Crouched athletic stance with a short stride, creates good bat speed in a middle to pull approach.  Bat speed registered at 86 mph.

CJ Glaza, OF, Essexville Garber, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-4, 205-pound prospect. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Athletic stance with hands loading down, creates good leverage in his big frame in a middle to pull approach. Bat speed registered at 80 mph.

Colby Green, OF/2B/MIF, Troy, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 155-pound prospect. Good actions with glove and footwork in the outfield. Long arm action throwing 67 mph from the outfield. Ran 7.32 a 60-yard dash. Balance stance at the plate, short compact swing creating good strength. Bat speed registered at 85 mph.

Cole Brooks, C, John Glenn, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 165-pound prospect. Good setup with great flexibility behind the plate, soft hands enable his good receiving skills. Pop time of 2.09-2.21. Ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. Toe tap stride, gets good extension through the baseball in a pull approach. Bat speed registered at 82 mph.

Connor Sonnier, C/MIF/OF, Bay City Western, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-7, 135-pound prospect. Receives well behind the plate with soft hands. Pop times of 2.07-2.19. Athletic actions with glove and footwork at shortstop. Threw 79 mph across the infield. Quick transfers with accurate throws from the outfield. Threw 80 mph from the outfield. Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Narrow stance with a toe tap stride, short compact swing working through the middle of the field. Bat speed registered at 81 mph.

Dalton Reimus, C, Freeland, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 185-pound prospect. Narrow stance with strong hands creating great receiving skills. Pop time of 2.19-2.25. Ran a 8.40 60-yard dash. Closed off stance, some strength in his bat in a pull approach. Bat speed registered at 77 mph.

Dawson Rabb, RHP, Traverse City Central, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-4, 185-pound prospect. High-¾ arm action throwing across his body. Located fastball on arm-side down in zone at 76-78 mph. Curveball with late break at 64-65 mph. Changeup with arm side sink at 70-71 mph. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash.

Diaz Saunderson, 1B/LHP, Northville, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect. Loose, high-¾ arm action. Locates fastball well at 77-79 mph. 1/7 curveball at 67-71 mph and changeup at 67-68 mph. Athletic actions with glove and footwork at first base. Threw 75 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. Loose, whippy hands at the plate, creates good leverage with plus bat speed in a pull approach. Bat speed registered at 94 mph.

Drake Ellens, OF, Caledonia, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 160-pound prospect. Clean athletic actions in the outfield with footwork and glove. Threw 84 mph from the outfield. Ran a 6.94 60-yard dash. Athletic stance with a short stride, good separation with a good bat path through the zone. Bat speed registered at 83 mph.

Drake Titus, SS/RHP, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 170-pounds. ¾ arm action with clean repeatable mechanics. Locates fastball well down in the zone at 81-83 mph. Curveball shows a sweeping action at 67-70 mph. Changeup with sink at 71-74 mph. Quick hands and footwork at shortstop, shows plus actions laterally. Threw 83 mph across the infield. Ran a 6.63 60-yard dash. Open to even stance, quick hands in a smooth swing in a middle to pull approach. Bat speed registered at 87 mph.

Garrett Styczynski, RHP/OF, Howell, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect. ¾ arm action, opens up front side at landing. Fastball was 75-78 with arm-side run. Curveball was 71-73 mph and changeup at 72-73 mph. Clean actions with footwork and glove in the outfield. Threw 73 mph from the outfield. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Line drive approach at the plate with a short stride and good ability of barreling the baseball up.  Bat speed registered at 80 mph.

Gary Turnbull, 3B/1B, Hartland, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 185-pound prospect. Good footwork with soft hands at third base. Threw 73 mph across the infield. Clean actions with glove and footwork, accurate throws with a long arm action from the outfield. Ran a 7.69 60-yard dash. Athletic stance with a leg lift stride, quick hands create plus strength in his bat. Bat speed registered at 92 mph.

Ian Simek, 3B/1B, Lake Orion, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect. Shows plus actions at third base and first base with his glove and footwork. Threw 76 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.90 60-yard dash. Open to even stance, short stride creates a compact swing with quick hands. Bat speed registered at 85 mph. Ian has had a big off season in the weight room and transforming his body, he will be a big follow this spring.

Jace Beatty, OF/LHP, Kenowa Hills, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 185-pound prospect. Low-¾ arm slot throwing across his body. Fastball was 77-82 mph with late run. Breaking ball shows a good sweeping action at 69-72 mph. Changeup was 75-77 mph. Clean actions with his footwork and glove in the outfield. Threw 78 mph from the outfield. Ran a 60-yard dash. Narrow open to open stance, generates good bat speed with pull side power. Bat speed registered at 88 mph.

Jack Tagget, RHP/3B, Frankenmuth, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 200-pound prospect. ¾ arm slot with a four-pitch mix for strikes. Fastball was 76-81 mph and 11/5 curveball with gradual break at 67-69 mph. Changeup showed some sink at 74-75 mph. Cutter is a plus out pitch at 76-77 mph. Hands work well out in front of body fielding at third base. Threw 78 mph across the infield. Ran a 8.07 60-yard dash. Balanced stance with a good load and a short stride, quick hands allow for some strength in his bat. Bat speed registered at 81 mph.

Jacob Buchberger, MIF, Montague, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect. Soft hands with good range at shortstop. Threw 76 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.14 60-yard dash.Balance stance with a short stride, good plate discipline in a middle of the field approach. Bat speed registered at 82 mph.

Jacob Newhouse, C/3B, Traverse City West, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 160-pound prospect. Good setup with strong receiving skills, moves well to ball behind the plate. Pop times of 2.20-2.25.Athletic actions at third base with his glove and footwork. Threw 71 mph across the infield. Ran 7.73 a 60-yard dash. Toe tap with a short stride, quick hands in a middle of the field approach. Bat speed registered at 83 mph.

Jeff Burch, LHP, Paw Paw, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect. Over-the-top arm action in a drop and drive delivery. Fastball was 79-81 mph. Locates curveball down in zone well at 66-69 mph. Changeup with late sink at 75-76 mph. Ran a 7.71 60-yard dash.

Jeremy Zsolcsak, RHP, Wyandotte Roosevelt, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-4, 155-pound prospect. Quick, high-¾ arm action with great tempo on the mound. Fastball with some arm-side run at 75-76 mph. Curveball has gradual break at 60-61 mph. Changeup was down in the zone at 69-71 mph. Ran a 8.38 60-yard dash.

Joe Stanford, LHP, Hudsonville, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 170-pound prospect. ¾ short arm action with good control and showed a jump in arm strength. Fastball showed some arm-side run at 78-79 mph. Curveball with gradual break at 65-66 mph. Changeup showed sink at 70-71 mph. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash.

John Baker, RHP/1B, Hartland, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect. Quick, high-¾ arm action with good use of lower half. Fastball was 85-89 mph with good movement. Cutter is a plus out pitch at 79-83 mph. Changeup showed some sink at 73-75 mph. Good actions with footwork and glove at first base. Threw 84 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Short stride with strength in his bat in a middle to pull approach. Bat speed registered at  94 mph.

Joseph Chinavare, OF, Livonia Franklin, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 165-pound prospect. Clean actions with footwork and glove in the outfield. Threw 72 mph from the outfield. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. Athletic stance with a short stride, quick hands in a middle of the field approach. Bat speed registered at 81 mph.

Josh Robbins, SS, Grand Rapids Northview, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 165-pound prospect. Showed loose athletic actions at shortstop with his footwork and soft hands. Threw 73 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Balanced stance striding closed, shows good ability to hit the ball to all fields in a line drive approach. Bat speed registered at 79 mph.

Josh Van Loon, C/OF, Clio, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 160-pound prospect. Showed strong skills in receiving and blocking the baseball behind the plate. Pop time of 2.20-2.25. Ran a 8.20 60-yard dash. Short stride with a compact swing in a pull approach from the left side. Good separation with plate discipline from the right side. Bat speed registered at 74 mph from the left side and 78 mph from the right side.

Justin Lemanski, MIF/RHP, L’Anse Cruese, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-6, 120-pounds prospect. Loose, ¾ arm slot with good rhythm on the mound. Fastball was 69-70 mph, curveball has gradual break at 57-59 mph, and changeup with some sink at 62-63 mph. Quick and soft hands at shortstop fielding the baseball. Threw 66 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.80 60-yard dash. Good balance with a short compact swing at the plate. Bat speed registered at 68 mph.

Kegan O’Brien, SS/RHP, Bedford, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-6, 140-pound prospect. Short, ¾ arm action with clean mechanics. Fastball showed good arm-side run at 75-78 mph. Slider at 69-72 mph. Changeup has good arm side sink at 65-70 mph. Showed plus action with glove and footwork at shortstop. Threw mph across the infield. Ran a 74 60-yard dash. Open to even stance from the left side, inside/out swing with good plate discipline. Wide stance with no stride from the right side, flat bat path in a middle of the field approach. Bat speed registered at 74 mph from the left side and 79 mph from the right side.

Kory Czajkowski, SS, Notre Dame Prep, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-9, 150-pound prospect. Works hands out in front of body well, soft hands and good range at shortstop. Threw 76 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.64 60-yard dash. Balanced stance with a short stride, handles the bat well with a middle of the field approach. Bat speed registered at 78 mph.

Kyle Andreen, RHP/OF, Forest Hills Eastern, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 165-pound prospect. Clean, quick ¾ arm action from the right side of the mound. Fastball was 76-79 mph, curveball showed late cut action at 64-67 mph, and changeup at 71-74 mph. Clean actions with his footwork and glove in the outfield. Threw 75 mph from the outfield. Landin Mitchell, 1B/RHP, Goodrich, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-4, 240-pound prospect. ¾ arm action with good leverage downhill. Fastball was 76-78 mph. Curveball was 62-66 mph with gradual break. Changeup was 68-70 mph. Showed soft hands and good footwork around first base. Threw 73 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.83 60-yard dash. Creates good leverage in a pull approach from the right side. Short stride with good extension from the left side. Bat speed registered at 79 mph from the right side and 74 mph from the left side.

Scouting Report: 6-foot-5, 218-pound prospect. Long, quick ¾ arm action. Fastball was 81-83 mph, curveball with gradual break at 66-70 mph, and changeup at 72-74 mph. Soft hands with good footwork around first base. Threw 76 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.72 60-yard dash. Creates good leverage with his tall big body at the plate, generates really good strength in the bat. Bat speed registered at 88 mph.

Scouting Report: 5-foot-7, 140-pound prospect. Quick side-arm action, falls to third base side of mound. Fastball was 75-79 mph. Slide with late break at 66-69 mph. Changeup at 61-63 mph. Quick soft hands at shortstop. Threw 71 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash. No load or stride, good bat path in a middle of the field approach. Bat speed registered at 80 mph.

Mitch Yelton, SS/RHP, Hackett Catholic, 2016
Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 185-pound prospect. High-¾ arm slot with ability to fill the strike zone. Fastball was 76-77 mph, 11/5 curveball with gradual break at 63-64 mph, and changeup with some sink at 66-68 mph. Good range with soft hands at shortstop. Threw 72 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Wide stance with a flat bat path in a line drive approach. Bat speed registered at 68 mph.

Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect. Soft hands with good range at shortstop. Threw 76 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Smooth stride and load from the left side, bat stays in the strike zone well creating a good extension through the baseball. Bat speed registered at 82 mph.

Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect. Quick, explosive ¾ arm action. Fastball was 84-87 mph with some movement. Curveball was located well at 69-73 mph. Changeup showed some sink at 75-77 mph. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash.

Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 160-pound prospect. Quick, loose athletic ¾ arm action. Fastball had good life at 82-85 mph. 12/6 curveball with plus action at 69-70 mph.
