The Michigan high school baseball season is officially underway. Although the temperatures have been pretty low, many teams have been able to play a fair amount of games.

Michigan Insider: Week 4 Player of the Week - Carsie Walker, RHP/SS
Name: Carsie Walker
School: Saugatuck
Position: RHP/SS
Class: 2017
Week in Review: Carsie Walker is a preseason all-state honorable mention selection. Walker had a week for the ages, displaying pitching ability and a big stick at the plate. Walker threw 7 innings on the week, totaling 10 strikeouts while only allowing 2 unearned runs. He was most impressive with the bat this week as well. Carsie went 6-9 with a double and 3 homeruns. Also scored 6 runs, stole 4 bases and racked up 11 RBI.
