PBR: Why did you choose Michigan?
Criswell: I chose Michigan because I really liked the coaching staff and because of the amazing opportunities both academically and athletically.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Criswell: I was also considering Wake forest, Michigan State, Western Michigan, and Cincinnati.
PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you?
Criswell: The coaching staff first saw me at the Black Swamp Tournament in Bowling Green, Ohio.
PBR: What team do you play for in the summer and what is your most memorable moment?
Criswell: I play for the 16u HBF Maroons, the most memorable moment was when we made it to the playoffs down in Georgia at the Perfect Game tournament
PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process?
Criswell: As it was, I expected the recruiting process to be very enjoyable, but I did not expect it to happen this early in my baseball career.
PBR: What were your stats last spring season?
Criswell: I finished the spring season with 4 wins 2 losses and one save, I struck out 44 and had a 1.51 ERA.
PBR: Who is the toughest hitter that you have faced?
Criswell: The toughest hitter I've faced is Joe Stewart from Portage Central.
