DeMatha 4, Riverdale Baptist 1
DeMatha ace Jack Alkire shuts down talented Riverdale Baptist offense giving up three hits and striking out nine in six tough innings of work. In a tale of two innings, Riverdale gets bases loaded with no one out in the top of the fifth and down 2-1. The crusaders are unable to score as Alkire gets out of the jam. In the bottom of the sixth, DeMatha takes their turn loading the bases with no out and get two runs off a sacrifice fly by pinch hitter Christian Minus and then get another after a RBI single by SS Joe Hall. Chris Jeletic leads the Stags offense going 2-for-3.

Steve O’Ferrall goes 2-for-4 and pitches complete game giving up four hits and strikes out five to lead AACS.
Archbishop Spalding 14, Gilman 4
Barrett Smith hits two home runs and collects five RBI to lead Spalding to the win over Gilman. LaVale Hodges collects three RBI and two hits and Aaron Barclay goes 3-for-4.
Bohemia Manor 12, Perryville 0
Justin Frey goes 3-for-3 with two RBI and Joseph Garrett goes five innings of shutout ball with seven strikeouts to lead Bohemia Manor in the win. David Jackson goes 2-for-3 with two RBI and Tyler Ferguson has three RBI in the winning effort.
Brunswick 20, Smithsburg 11
Doug Pearl goes 3-for-5 with five RBI to lead Brunswick. Ryan Capstick has four RBI and Andrew Wanger adds three RBI. Garrett Spinks goes 2-for-4 with three RBI and Joey Schwarts has three RBI to lead Smithsburg.
Chesapeake 12, Annapolis 2
Cougars score nine runs in the first inning and pull away late as they beat Annapolis 12-2. 14 Cougars collect hits with Connor Fletcher leading the way going 2-for-2. Perry Freeburger gets the win going all six innings giving up five hits and striking out two.
Col Richardson 8, Queen Anne’s 6
Col Richardson now 10-0 on the season.
Easton 6, North Dorchester 5
Easton scores the winning run in the seventh inning after North Dorchester scores two in the top half to tie the game up late. Hunter Whitby hits the walk off winner for Easton. Whitby goes 3-for-4 with two RBI and Conner Saulsbury goes 3-for-3 with three RBI to lead the Warrior offense.
Gaithersburg 5, Bethesda-Chevy Chase 0
Anthony Felitti pitches a complete game shutout striking out 10 with one walk and four hits given up to lead the Trojans in the victory. Brad Sawyer has one hit and two RBI and Corey Scholl adds a 2-for-3 day with an RBI to lead the Gaithersburg offense. Dustin Hacker goes 2-for-3 to lead BCC.
Gonzaga (DC) 8, Bishop McNamara 6
McNamara comeback falls short after five run sixth.
Hammond 3, Glenelg 2
Hammond breaks a 2-2 tie with one run in the top of the sixth to get the late inning victory over Glenelg. David Hutchison gets 12 strikeouts and gives up four hits in the complete game effort for the Golden Bears. Sam Wiedorfer goes 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Hammond offense.
Huntingtown 10, Great Mills 0
Danny Johnson goes 3-for-3 with four RBI to lead Huntingtown in the win. Brandyn Vogtsberger goes five shutout innings for the win.
John Carroll 9, Mount St. Joseph 5
Matt Woznack goes 2-for-4 with five RBI and a homerun to lead John Carroll in the win. Tim Kucher chips in with a 3-for-4 effort while Luke Schaffer, Nick Collier and Colin McCaughey all have two hits for the Patriots.
La Plata 3, Lackey 2 (8 innings)
Tyler Stockwell goes 2-for-4 with two RBi and has the game winning RBI to lead La Plate in extras. Simeon Spruill, Taylor Cook and Justin Snell all have two hits. Austin Mitchell goes all eight innings striking out nine.
McDonogh 8, Loyola-Blakefield 3
Kevin McHugh goes 2-for-4 with two RBI and Alex Parker goes 3-for-4 to lead McDonogh. Ricky Williamson and Paul DiPino both add two hit games for the Eagles.
McDonough 8, Thomas Stone 4
Five Run first innings proves to be too much for Thomas Stone to overcome. David Larson has two hits for McDonough.
North County 5, Southern 2
Jesse Roat goes 2-for-2 with three RBI and Josh Bathgate pitches six strong innings to lead North County in the victory. Bathgate gives up six hits with six strikeouts and Mike Green gets the save for the Knights. Jeffrey Ferguson and Dillon Waters have two hits apiece for Southern.
Northern 15, St. Charles 1
Ryan Potts goes 4-for-4 with four RBI and three runs scored to lead Northern in the victory. Connor Graham adds two hits and four RBI. Dominic Stanberry goes five innings giving up one run on five hits getting the win.
Old Mill 6, Broadneck 5 (8 innings)
David Marrocco hits game winning single in bottom of the eighth as Old Mill scores three in bottom of the seventh to take the game to extras. Marrocco goes 4-for-5 on the day with two RBI. DJ Biscoe goes 3-for-4 and Jeremy Arocho, Keith Parks and Brian Cordell collect two hits apiece.
Park 10, Concordia Prep 0
Devin Lowe goes 2-for-2 with four RBI and Jake Palumbo goes 2-for-2 with three RBI to lead Park in the win. Palumbo has a homerun and triple and also pitches four innings of no-hit ball with four strikeouts.
Parkside 9, Snow Hill 5
Rams score five in first which proves to be the difference. Hunter Parsons and Connor Shockley each have two RBI for Parkside.
Severna Park 22, Northeast 0
Falcons score 17 runs in the final two innings to pull away. Griffin Wild goes 3-for-5 with four RBI to lead Severna Park offense. Kyle Weiner throws seven shutout innings giving up one hit and strikes out six.
South River 10, Meade 0
Seahawks score six in the first and four in the fourth en route to the victory. Ethan Falsone goes 1-for-3 with two RBI to lead South River.
St. James 24, St. Andrews 2
Ryan Brown goes for the cycle in a 5-for-5 effort to lead St. James in the win. Brown hits a grand slam as part of his eight RBI game while also getting the win on the mound going four innings. Myles Nicholson goes 4-for-5 with three RBI and Isaac Schlotterbeck has two hits and four RBI.
St. Mary’s 6, Glenelg Country 2
A three run first proves to be the difference as St. Mary’s takes the win. Brady O’Neil and Tre D’Amico have two hits and an RBI in the Saints victory. Michael Dormody has two RBI. Ryan Davis gets the win and Nick Sabatini the save.
St. Paul’s 9, Archbishop Curley 4
St. Paul’s break open and 4-4 tie with a five run bottom of the sixth. Ricardo Duncan goes 3-for-4 with three RBI to lead St. Paul’s. Spencer Horwitz and Ryan Glendon add two hits and an RBI as well. Lucas Nakich goes 4-for-4, Tommy Holcomb goes 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and Marty Costes goes 3-for-4 with an RBI to lead Curley.
Westminster 5, North Carroll 2
Jake Kucharski goes 2-for-3 with an RBI and Chris Lang adds two hits to lead Westminster. Brandon Martin goes five innings with eight strikeouts giving up four hits in the win.
Wilde Lake 9, Marriott’s Ridge 8 (9 innings)
Wyatt Oler hits a two-run homerun in the bottom of the ninth after Marriott’s Ridge takes the lead in the top half. Oler has three RBI in a 2-for-4 effort. Cuinn Mullins goes 2-for-3 with three RBI in the winning effort.
