SCOUTING REPORT

8.4.16 -  Was the Mid-Atlantic sleeper infielder from the event. Athletic actions and projectable frame. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash, loose arm that was up to 82 across the diamond. Beginning to show more strength with an exit velocity of 88 from the left side and 89 from the right. Is more comfortable hitting right handed but still shows potential from the left. Load got him of timing from the left side. Still room for growth from the prospect.

Please describe your Future Games Experience
+ My Future Games Experience was one to remember. It was exciting and challenging while showcasing my skills in front of over 200 college coaches. Also, my teammates made my experience even more enjoyable. They were encouraging and always had an optimistic attitude, creating positive vibes on and off the field.

Would you recommend to 2019 & 2020 grads to play in the Future Games?
+ Yes, I would recommend this event to the 2019/2020 class because it is a great way to get exposure in front of a lot of coaches. It would be a great challenge for them and an enjoyable experience for them overall.

What is your timeline for making a decision?
+ My time frame for making a decision on which college I will attend is at the end of my junior year.

What are you looking for in your college choice?
+ When looking for a college, I am open minded to whatever size school that fits my academic, social, cultural and athletic needs. For me personally, it does not matter how far the college is away from home. While in college, I would like to study in the field of healthcare or information technology. From a baseball stand point, I would like to go to a school where I will have the best opportunity of playing.

What do you feel are your strengths as a player?
+ My strengths defensively are that I have soft hands, quick lateral movements, and good range of motion on ground balls. On the offense side, I am a switch hitter with raw power when making solid contact with the baseball. I am also effective on the base paths, using my speed to steal bases and create an opportunity to score runs.

Are there any areas of your game you would like to improve?
+ There are a couple of areas in my game that need improvement. For example, my velocity across the diamond needs to increase. Also, my 60 time needs to improve if I want to be a top notch player.

What travel organization do you play for and/or what have you learned this summer?

+ This summer, I played travel baseball with the Evoshield Canes North 16u Team. I will play with the Rawlings A's 17u National Team for the rest of my high school years. Over the course of the summer while playing with my travel team, I have learned that no matter what position you play or who you are, you have to work and compete for playing time. Practicing and continuing development is key in baseball because there is always room for improvement. This allows players to open new doors for more opportunities to get recruited.
