Welcome to PBR Massachusetts
September 23, 2014
With great pleasure, we bring to you Prep Baseball Report Massachusetts. Our mission in Massachusetts mirrors that of other state-specific coverage: to provide the most comprehensive in-state information, to promote high school baseball and, ultimately help Massachusetts prep athletes achieve their dreams of playing baseball at the next level. Our goal is to be the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in Massachusetts.
Although it will take some time to achieve the status of our other 19 states, we are certain we have the right person to thoroughly, accurately and honestly cover Massachusetts:
Dennis Healy.
A decorated high-level recruiter and coach, Healy brings a wealth of baseball experience to the Prep Baseball Report. For the last six years Healy served as the pitching coach at Wake Forest University. During his tenure Healy helped lead the Demon Deacons to a nationally ranked recruiting class in 2013, and berths to the ACC Conference Tournament in 2011, 2012 and 2014.
Prior to his work at Wake Forest, Healy was the head coach at Marist College for five years, where he paved recruiting in-roads all across the northeast. In 2009, he guided Marist to the MAAC championship. Before taking the helm at Marist, Healy served as an assistant coach at the University of New Orleans.
Now Healy will bring his baseball experiences and connections to Massachusetts’ prep baseball scene. Healy will work tirelessly to bring to you the most comprehensive high school baseball information Massachusetts has ever seen and provide coverage to all corners of the state. But he can’t do it alone. Please email him a [email protected] with college commitments, relevant news, and top players in your area.
Massachusetts events are already set up at top-flight venues across the state. Prep Baseball Report events are designed to give players the maximum exposure needed to advance to the next level. Not only will players receive high-level exposure from college coaches, but all players at events will be videotaped, and the edited performance will be hosted online. All players’ profiles, verified statistics and scouting reports can be searched in our expansive player database.
Our flagship state, Prep Baseball Report Illinois, was launched in 2005. Over the last 10 years, the Prep Baseball Report has evolved into the authoritative voice of high school baseball in Illinois. More than 450 colleges and pro scouts now subscribe to the Prep Baseball Report multimedia services. Over the years, the Prep Baseball Report has evolved into one of the country’s biggest and most respected independent scouting services, with a singular focus of providing comprehensive coverage in every state we are in.
Now, we are thrilled to be your No. 1 source of high school baseball in Massachusetts.
