PBR: Why did you choose Virginia Tech?
Salvadore: Immediately as I stepped on Virginia Tech's campus it felt like home. I knew Virginia Tech would be a good fit for me. Along with that, the coaching staff at Tech really solidified my decision. I knew I would be in a position in which I would be able to get better everyday.
PBR: When did they first see you and when did you commit?
Salvadore: I attended a Virginia Tech camp the fall of my junior year and proceeded that fall to take an unofficial visit in which later that fall I committed.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Salvadore: I was considering a variety of ACC and SEC schools.
PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals for your senior season?
Salvadore: As I look forward to senior year, I look to the team goals first and individual goals second. I will continue to do everything I can to put my team in a position to win and let everything else that comes along whether it be the draft take care of itself.
PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most memorable experience?
Salvadore: In the summer I play for the Evoshield National team and most notably winning the WWBA National Championship in Georgia was an amazing experience. Sharing that championship with my friends, teammates, coaches, and family will be something I will never forget.
PBR: What person has the greatest impact on your baseball career and why?
Salvadore: It's hard to say who has had the greatest impact on my baseball career but I would have to go with my parents. Summer baseball is a huge time commitment for everyone in the family and I owe a huge thanks to them for putting me in a position to be successful and raising me to be the man I am today.
PBR: Who is the toughest hitter you’ve faced in the state?
Salvadore: I've faced a lot of hitters over my high school career in Mass. One of the toughest hitters I've come across would have to be Dante Ricciardi, he always grinds his at bats and never goes down easily.
