SCOUTING REPORT
Offensively, Curran sets up with and even based stance and a high back elbow. He gets the the barrel to the zone with relative ease. His barrel is down and thru and he has a high finish. He shows good power potential, with some flattening of the bat plane, he could get scary as a hitter. He is a good athlete, who runs a 7.2. Curran moves well around the bag at first and show plenty of glove an average arm to play the position. Behind the dish, he is a big physical target , shows average footwork and playable receiving tools. His transfer is fine at 2.0 but he tends to get a bit long on the back with his throwing. He is an offensive player who is big and left-handed, therefore there is a ton to like.
