After drilling down into our google analytics we have compiled a list of the ten most visited Louisiana profiles on the Prep Baseball Report website in 2015. During the month of December we will count down to the end of the year with a look at those profiles that were most viewed.
No. 4 Brock Batty {Denham Springs HS}
A 6-foot-1, 175-pound left-handed pitcher and 1st baseman with a medium, athletic frame. Long, loose arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 83-86 mph with sink and arm side run. Showed a feel for a curveball with 2/8 shape, tight spin and sharp, late break at 68-72 mph. As well, he displayed a quality change up with fastball arm speed, deception and late, hard fade action at 70-72 mph. Right-handed hitter with athletic, balanced setup, smooth load, short stride and quick hands. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path that produced an exit velocity of 87 mph. Solid defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange, and field in an athletic fielding position. Long arm action into a high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws and a positional velocity of 86 mph. Also posted a 7.19 60 yard dash.
