Five Unsigned Senior Position Players To Watch This Spring

With the start of the 2016 prep season just around the corner, excitement is surely growing. Today Prep Baseball Report Louisiana takes a look at five position players that remain uncommitted heading into their Senior campaigns.
+ Hunter Stanley, INF, St. Thomas Aquinas HS(2016)
A 5-foot-11, 170-pound infielder with a lean, athletic frame. Quality defender with soft hands, quick footwork, clean exchange and fields in an athletic position. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 85 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, smooth load, short stride and solid lower half. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 84 mph. Also posted a 6.75 60 yard dash.
+ CJ Estave, C, Franklinton HS(2016)
A 5-foot-9, 195-pound catcher with compact, strong frame. Quality defender with soft hands, quick footwork, and a quick, clean exchange. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 80 mph and a pop time of 1.93 seconds. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, smooth load, short stride, explosive lower half and solid balance. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, slightly uphill path and explosive bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 88 mph. Also posted a 7.57 60 yard dash.

A 5-foot-9, 170-pound catcher with an average, strong frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork and a quick exchange. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws and plus arm strength that produced a positional velocity of 83 mph and a pop time of 1.97 seconds. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, smooth load, short stride, leg kick, solid lower half and balance. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path, and solid bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 76 mph. Also posted a 7.00 60 yard dash.

Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, level bat path, and explosive bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 95 mph. Solid defender with average hands, quick and clean exchange, and plays through balls well. Long arm action into a high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 81 mph. Also posted a 7.01 60 yard dash.

Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, leg kick, explosive lower half and solid balance.
