After drilling down into our google analytics we have compiled a list of the ten most visited Kentucky profiles on the Prep Baseball Report website in 2014. Over the coming days we will continue to count down to the end of the year with a look at those profiles that were most viewed.
Adell, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound RHP/OF from Ballard HS committed to Louisville several months ago and has proven he is one of the top Class of 2017 prospects in the country. The question that will play out over the next few years is where is his future beyond the high school level; is it on the mound or in the outfield? The early favorite is the mound, but he should not be discounted in the slightest as a position player right now. Last February, as a freshman, Adell put on a show at our Preseason All-State Showcase when he ran a laser-timed 7.06-second 60-yard dash, showed 87 mph arm strength from the outfield, and showcased elite bat speed with a 99 mph exit velocity off the tee. On the mound, his fastball sat 85-87 mph, and he showed a hammer of a curveball at 71-74 mph. When you consider that these number were from almost a year ago, Adell obviously has an extremely high ceiling with three years of high school baseball left. Adell's profile has been viewed 3409 times in 2014.
