Here is a look inside the recruitment of Garrett Clark.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)

Clark: I'm looking for a school that has a good engineering program. I'm looking for a 4 year college. Preferably warm but I could survive.

PBR: How did you do your junior year? What were your high school statistics? And how did your team do?

Clark: My junior year went really good. I started playing second base halfway through the high school season and found out I'm pretty good there. I've always been told I'm a true utility player. I'll play anywhere as long as I'm on the field. I don't know my statistics exactly. I know I hit somewhere around .300. Our team lost in the first round of regionals.

PBR: What are you goals for your senior season?

Clark: For senior season I want to carry my team on and off the field. I want to be a leader. Someone the underclass man can look up to. There are records at southwest that I'd like to break and I know I can. I want my senior season to be my best season of baseball I've ever played.

PBR: What travel team do you play for? Are you playing fall ball with a team?

Clark: I play for Building Champions. Jeremy Jones coached my team this last summer. I'm unable to play fall ball this fall.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?

Clark: I do not play any other sports. I've played football, basketball and wrestled in the past.

PBR: What are your ACT and GPA?

Clark: My ACT is a 26 and I plan on getting that up to at least a 28. I take it in October. My GPA is a 3.6.
