The River City Baseball Festival comes in at number three on our countdown of the most read stories in Kansas in 2016. 

The River City Baseball Festival is an annual tournament in Lawrence, Kansas hosted by Lawrence High, Lawrence Free State and Kansas University.  The event features some of the top team in Kansas and Missouri and is becoming one of the most highly recruited high school events in the region.

Games start on Thursday morning in the River City Baseball Festival.  Teams from around the region will square-off over the next three days in Lawrence, Kansas.  Games will be played at Hoglund Ballpark at KU, Lawrence Free State HS and Lawrence HS.
