  • After losing several games to inclement weather last season the Cubs have taken steps to remedy the situation by installing field turf.

OUTLOOK:  

The Cubs look to rebound from a disappointing loss in the first round of the 3A State Championship in Manhattan last spring.  Offensively they will be lead by senior centerfielder Caleb Vanatta (Neosho County CC signee), junior Jacob Carpenter (lead team in batting average in 2013).  On the mound the Cubs are expecting big things from junior right-handed pitcher Grayson Pearish.
