Unsigned Senior Spotlight: Jacob Johnson, Terre Haute South HS

Today's Unsigned Senior Spotlight is on Terre Haute South SS Jacob Johnson. The No. 85 ranked prospect in Indiana's 2014 class is 5-foot-11, 170 pounds.
Johnson attended a PBR event in the summer of 2012 where he displayed good speed and athleticism. He ran a 6.89 60 and displayed a quick arm from both the outfield and across the diamond. From the infield he was 83 mph, and was 85 mph from the outfield. At the shortstop position he displayed above average actions with some range.
At the plate, Johnson showcased quick hands with an athletic swing. He projects to hit towards the top of the order, as he controls the bat well and makes solid contact. This past season for Terre Haute South, Johnson hit .333 with 27 RBI, 14 BB, and 13 stolen bases.
