Team Preview: Lowell High School

Lowell High School and Coach Bobby Wong finished the 2012 season with a 9-20 overall record and a 3-9 mark in the competitive Northwest Crossroads Conference. Seven starters and three pitchers return for the Red Devils as they look to get the program back on track.
Leading the way for Lowell is Bryan Thomas. The senior catcher batted .324 and registered 13 RBI’s. Another key contributor for the Red Devils was sophomore Myles Siedentopf. The right-hander was a leader on the mound, recording 45 strikeouts in 49 innings of work. Siedentopf also hit .260 and knocked in 20 runs.
Other returning starters expected to contribute are Dan Garza (2014), Reed Holdeman (2015), Jordan Hansen (2014), and Logan Schiessle (2014). The Northwest Crossroads Conference will be a challenge for Lowell with defending champion Andrean, Hobart, and Munster all looking to contend for the title.
