At the Indiana Preseason All-State Showcase in February, Haberkorn showed ability on both sides of the ball with a 6.76 60-yard dash time and a level swing path to go with an 83-84 mph fastball that late run to it. He has a whippy arm that comes from a three-quarter slot with quickness. His secondary stuff was inconsistent. He had some college offers before the Indiana Top Prospect Games in June, but showed improved velocity by sitting 86-88. He was also impressive at the plate with four batting practice home runs and an in-game triple.

His performance over the summer helped him move up in the Overall Rankings before settling at No. 77 in the latest update.
