Prep Baseball Report Indiana held the 2016-17 Prospect Showcase yesterday in Indianapolis at Bishop Chatard High School and their all-turf baseball field.  The event consisted of 50 total players from across the state, as well as one player from Ohio.

There were many talented players at the event showing tons of projectability and athleticism.

2016 Matthew Owens (Ft. Wayne Carroll) and 2016 Collin Lollar (Columbus North) posted the quickest 60 times at the event, both running a 7.0

Lollar also recorded the highest velo from the outfield at 82 mph and on the mound with a fastball touching 83 mph.  

2017 catcher Tyler Burthay (Western) had the quickest pop time of a 2.05, with fellow 2017 Zach Britton (Batesville) right behind him with a 2.08.
