The Maconaquah Braves, led by Coach Dustin Hays, finished 2012 with a 15-13 overall record and a 3-4 mark in the Mid Indiana Conference. The Braves return seven starters and four pitchers for the 2013 campaign. 

The Braves are led by a core nucleus of seniors who will be counted on to provide solid leadership. Eli Fields is a consistent producer at the plate and anchors the Maconaquah defense at shortstop. Seniors Kyle Radtke and Billy Murphy, both right-handers, lead the Braves pitching staff. 

Another senior, Conner Uhrin, is an offensive catalyst in the lead-off spot and covers a lot of ground in the outfield. Other key contributors will be Nick Love (2014), Josh Fewell (2015), and Josh Holmes (2015). 

Coach Hays expects to compete for a conference title in 2013. The Braves will face stiff competition from Western, Hamilton Heights, and Lewis Cass.
