Future Games Spotlight: 2016 C Brady Bain

The Prep Baseball Report Future Games Powered By Under Armour is a one-of-a-kind event featuring the top 2016 prospects from across the PBR coverage area. The 4th annual Futures Games will take place at Grand Park in Westfield, IN from July 31-August 2 where hundreds of scouts from across the country will fill the stands to watch some of the top uncommitted 2016 prospects across our coverage area.

Last year Indiana's Class of 2015 Future Games Team has already seen 15 Division 1 commitments from that roster.

State Ranking: 27

Though he may be undersized, Bain is an athletic receiver with quick feet and a strong arm.  He possesses strong blocking ability with an advanced feel for the position.  We've seen him register pop times between 1.95-2.01 on a consistent basis through showcases and games. Offensively he hits from the left side of the plate with good rhythm and athleticism. The ball jumps off his bat displaying the ability to drive the gaps.  Bain possesses good speed on the bases and also ran a 6.88 60 at a PBR event in the winter of 2013.  In a HS game earlier this spring Bain also pitched, sitting 81-83, touching 84 on multiple occasions.
