With the 2016 Underclass Preview Showcase coming up on October 18th, we are highlighting some of the top 2016 players in the Hoosier State.
Name: Pete LaMagna
High School: Cathedral
Graduating Class: 2016
Position: SS/2B
Height: 6-1
Weight: 185

Pete LaMagna is an athletic Junior middle-infielder out of perennial power Indianapolis Cathedral. At this summer's Top Prospect Games he showcased soft hands and athletic actions defensively. He moves well with his feet and possesses a smooth, easy ball transfer with a strong arm across the diamond (80 mph). Offensively, he hits out of a crouch position with high hands. His stride is short and stays balanced throughout the swing. LaMagna registered an exit velo of 84 in June's Top Prospect Games workout.
