Connor Manous is today's 2016 Player Spotlight. Manous is currently ranked as the No. 10 prospect in the 2016 class. The 5-foot-10 RHP has attended multiple PBR events, showcasing an 84-86 mph fastball with late arm side run and good command. The RHP uses a tall and fall delivery with smooth rhythm. The arm is quick and loose from a high 3/4 arm slot and shows an advanced feel of three pitches.
Manous possesses an athletic build and appears to be one of the top two-way players in the Midwest. Defensively he shows solid actions, playing through the baseball with soft hands and a quick exchange. Across the diamond he is 79 mph with a short arm action, and over the top slot. Manous also runs well, posting a 6.99 60 time.
From the plate the sophomore displays advanced bat speed, posting an 85 mph exit velocity from the tee. Manous uses a short bat path with occasional extension, with a line drive, gap to gap approach.
