Unsigned Senior Showcase Preview

The Prep Baseball Report Unsigned Senior Showcase at the Max in McCook, IL will take place on Sunday, October 12, 2014. The open showcase is geared towards all uncommitted 2015 graduates, and will include several area colleges in attendance. Nearly 70 schools were in attendance at last year’s event.

Last October’s Unsigned Senior Showcase ended up producing 35 players who made college commitments following the event. Hinsdale Central’s Ryan Haff showed off impressive athleticism, ran a 6.86 60-yard dash, produced 92 mph exit velocity, and committed to play in the Big Ten for Illinois. Maine South’s Bobby Pennington sat 86-88 mph with his fastball, and eventually committed to junior college powerhouse John A. Logan in Southern Illinois.
