More Illinois underclassmen continue to come off the board. This time, highly ranked prospects in the 2016 and 2015 classes name their schools.
+ Bradley Harrison, a Class of 2016 1B/LHP from O’Fallon HS, has verbally committed to Southern Illinois University. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Harrison, who’s ranked No. 28 in Illinois’ 2016 class, was a standout at the PBR Class of 2016 Top Prospect Games at UIC last July. The two-way talent features a polished left-handed swing with burgeoning power and has potential on the mound, as well. Harrison, who made an impact on O’Fallon’s varsity team as a freshman, also had a breakout performance at the Underclass Invitational as a freshman last year.
Harrison marks the eighth Illinois sophomore to verbally commit. CLICK HERE to view Illinois’ 2016 rankings.
+ Tyler Lass, a 2015 RHP from Belvidere HS, has committed to Northwestern University. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Lass is currently ranked No. 25 in Illinois’ 2015 class and No. 120 overall. Lass is one of the top power arms in Illinois. A member of Team Illinois at the Midwest Future Games, Lass pitches in the upper-80s and has been as high as 90 on occasion. He also throws an upper-70s slider for strikes.
