Our Prospect Identification Showcases always unveil fresh talent to the PBR scouting staff and gives us a look at players to follow during the spring season. This event was no different, several players showed well by posting excellent numbers.

2016 RHP’s Ryan Hodgett (St. Francis) and Garrett Acton (Lemont) were two of the top arms on the mound. Hodgett sat at 86-88 mph while Acton touched 87 mph.

Several 60 times were impressive as well including Dane Toppel (South Elgin, 2015) at 6.65, Darius Hill (T.F.South, 2016) at 6.66 and Jamie Johnson (Andrean, IN, 2015) at 6.68.

No one posted a more impressive exit velocity than left handed hitting Logan Haring (Dekalb, 2015) who hit 100 mph off of the tee multiple times.
