Bloomington (11-9; 5-0) crushed the Generals in five innings for the Purple Raiders eighth consecutive win and still sit atop the Big 12 standings.
Champaign Centennial 6, Danville 5
Champaign Centennial (12-7; 4-2) withstood a Viking seventh inning rally to pick up the big win in Danville and make the half-hour bus ride home on I-74W very enjoyable. Austin Johnson pitched five quality innings to pick up the win on the mound and Charger closer Ty Yoder made things very interesting, before retiring the last Viking batter in the seventh. Austin Johnson helped himself at the plate with a pair of RBI and Anthony Martin led the Charger attack with three hits and three ribbies.
Normal Community 10, Decatur Eisenhower 0
Normal Community (10-9; 4-2) blanked Decatur Ike behind a combined six-hit shutout from four Ironmen pitchers. Alex Haines, Jake Gilhaus, Jackson Bronke and Ben Wylde combined on the shutout with Haines (1-0) picking up the win. Haines fired three shutout innings, allowing the three hits with four strikeouts. Each of the three Ironmen relievers pitched a scoreless inning in relief. An eight-run NCHS first-inning put this one away early. Kyle Sosa had two singles and three RBI to lead the Ironman onslaught.

Glenbrook South (15-3; 7-0) rallied past the Trevians in Glenview. Ben Samborn put the Titans ahead to stay when he crushed a two-run double in the bottom of the fourth. Jimmy Ruddy singled home an insurance run in the fifth. Senior RHP Mike Lenckos (4-0) fired a six -hitter at New Trier (13-7; 5-2) with six strikeouts. Lenckos did not walk a batter.

Rockford Boylan (14-6; 7-2) crushed the Bucs in five innings behind a 4-for-4 day from Dalton Robinson, who also plated three Titan runs. Titan starting and winning pitcher Joe Ferhle fired five shutout innings allowing five hits with three strikeouts to get the win.

Yorkville 11, Kaneland 1
Yorkville (16-7; 6-2) smashed the Knights scoring seven runs in the second and coasting to the five-inning NIB-12 win in Maple Park. Junior SS Sam Flamini hit a pair of bombs and drove home four Fox runs. Senior 2B Zach Aloisio had two singles and two RBI. Junior RHP Cameron Van Boekel fired a two-hitter with five strikeouts at Kaneland (11-6; 7-2).
Morris 15, De Kalb 3
Morris (14-7; 5-3) crushed the Barbs behind senior Austin Conrod. Conrod had a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate with a double and four RBI to lead the Redskin attack. Junior Tom Cheshareck chipped in with a triple and two RBI.

Lemont (19-1; 11-0) crushed the Spartans in five innings at 131st and Bell. The Indians put a four-spot on the board in the first inning and never looked back. RHP Garrett Acton (3-0) fired a five-shutout at OLCHS with three strikeouts. St. Louis University-bound Jake Terrazas was 2-for-3 with three RBI and LSU-bound Jake Latz chipped in with a double and a RBI.

No. 17 Plainfield North 10, Plainfield South 6
Plainfield North (20-2; 12-0) scored five runs in the top of the seventh to blow the roof of of this one and sweep the Cougars on the South Side of Plainfield. Sophomore Josh Garner allowed one run and four hits in his five stellar innings of work to improve to 4-1.Garner had an even dozen punchouts. Garner helped himself at the plate with a 2-for-3 day with a double and three RBI. Junior Richard Bryza had a single and plated three Tiger runs.
No.10 Minooka 19, Oswego East 5
Minooka (17-4; 11-1) swept away the Wolves behind Lewis University-bound Neal Tyrell. Tyrell went 3-for-5 with a double and five RBI. Senior C Tyler Desmarais (2-for-3 HR, 3RBI) and John Vesper (3-for-4, 2B, HR, 3 RBI) went deep for the Indians. Sophomore LHP Joe Butler (5-1) allowed one earned run in his four innings of work to pick up the win.
Romeoville 6, Plainfield East 5
Romeoville (8-14; 2-9) rallied past the Bengals, salvaging the final game of the three-game SWPC series in Plainfield. The Spartans trailed 5-1 before tying the game up with a four spot in the top of the fifth and winning the game in the sixth. In the big four-run fifth, sophomore Matt Bottcher had an RBI single to cut the Bengal lead to 5-2 and then later in the inning sophomore David Rodriguez ripped a bases-clearing double to the fence in center to tie the game at 5-5. In the bottom of the sixth, junior Joshua Krueger doubled home senior Matthew Esquivil, who had walked with the eventual game winner.

O’Fallon (20-2; 8-1) blanked the Kahoks behind senior RHP Blake Deatherage. Deatherage (8-0) fired a seven-hit shutout at Collinsville with five strikeouts and helped himself out at the plate with two RBI. Bradley Snyder led the Panther attack a 3-fo-3 day with a triple and an RBI.
