CLASS 4A REGIONAL SEMIFINALS
No. 1 Brother Rice 12, Kennedy 1
Jack Guzek two of the Crusaders’ four home runs and four Brother Rice pitchers combined on a no-hitter in the five-inning victory. Ryan Kutt homered and struck out four in two perfect innings.
No. 3 O’Fallon 5, Danville 4
Bradley Harrison went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and three RBI for O’Fallon. Harrison also pitched two innings to save the victory for Logan Boente, who did not allow a hit in three innings of relief. Ernest Plummer hit a home run for Danville.
Oak Park 5, Lincoln Park 0
Jack McMullen pitched six innings of one-hit ball and Jeremy Gaines tripled
Joliet West 7, Normal Community 3
Noah Plunge went 2-for-4 with three RBI and Joliet West jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first and never looked back. Alex Tibble had two doubles and scored two runs in the victory.
Naperville Central 4, Romeoville 3
Liam Heath struck out 12 in 6 ⅓ and Conor Joyce singled home Beau Buchanan with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth. Buchanan was hit by a pitch then stole his second base of the afternoon to set the stage for Joyce. Heath allowed two earned runs on four hits and one walk. Kyle Massaro had a two-run double for Romeoville.
Marist 8, Crete-Monee 7
Zach Sefcik's two-run single tied and Matt Donohue added an RBI single as Marist rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh. Brian Wood hit a home run and added a double in the seventh-inning rally. Josh Tomas hit two homers and Matt Sonntag also went deep for Crete-Monee.
CLASS 3A REGIONAL SEMIFINALS
No. 15 Waterloo 13, Cahokia 0
Cole Kaiping, Cole Milam and Lucas Goodsell combined on a five-inning perfect game for Waterloo. Quinn Albrecth went 2-for-2 with two RBI.
No. 17 Peoria Notre Dame 14, Rock Island Alleman 3
Brady Hough homered, doubled and had four RBI for the Irish. Luke Shadid went 2-for-2 and scored two runs.

Limestone 3, Dunlap 2
Pinch-runner Nate Hines scored on a fielder’s choice as Dunlap pushed across the winning run without the benefit of a hit in the bottom of the 12th. Tanner Rhoades struck out six in five scoreless innings of five-hit ball to win in relief.
Triad 13, Jerseyville 3
John McGee went 3-for-4 with three RBI, Cole Witzig tripled and doubled and Triad smacked nine extra-base hits in the victory.
Mahomet-Seymour 11, Charleston 3
Tom Kenney went 3-for-3 with two RBI and three runs and Scott Metzger added three hits and two RBI in the victory.
Champaign Central 10, Clinton 0
Glenwood 13, Jacksonville 3
Karson Aherin went 2-for-3 and winning pitcher Jacob Maton struck out seven in five innings and added two hits and two RBI. Cole Hembrough hit a home run in the victory.
Centennial 3, Mattoon 1
Alec Thomas pitched six innings on no-hit ball and Kellen Sarver allowed a harmless single in pitching a scoreless seventh for the save. Chris Monroe had two doubles and two RBI in the victory.
Morgan Park 6, Rich Central 1
Thalame Byrd’s two-run double in the bottom of the sixth gave Morgan Park the lead. Jarren Norman allowed one hit in three innings of relief to pick up the win.
East Peoria 6, Morton 3
Noah Hornung went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the victory. Mason Durdel added two hits and two RBI. Dan Bolt hit a three-run homer for Morton.
Freeburg 8, Highland 6
Brennan Dermody’s pinch three-run triple was the big blow in the eight-run fifth inning as Freeburg rallied from a 4-0 deficit. Braeden Chandler scored two runs in the inning. Jordan Smith had two hits and two RBI for Highland.
Pontiac 17, Prairie Central 1
Tony Krominga homered and drove in four runs for Pontiac.
CLASS 2A SECTIONAL SEMIFINALS
No. 16 St. Joseph-Ogden 6, Paxton-Buckley-Loda 2
Colton Carr allowed two unearned runs on four hits while striking out six and walking two for St. Joseph. Ty Brown hit a home run in the victory. Mason Coon had two RBI.
Reed-Custer 7, Illiana Christian 3

Beardstown 2, Maroa-Forsyth 1
Will Robertson drove in both Beardstown runs, including a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh. Dalton Leischner pitched six scoreless innings of three-hit ball and Rick Dour got the win despite giving up an earned run in the top of the seventh.
St. Bede 11, Beecher 0
CLASS 1A SECTIONAL SEMIFINALS
Astoria 1, Triopia 0
Alex Dorethy pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and four walks in the victory. Adam Curry had an RBI double in the fourth inning.
