The Chicagoland Open is an open prospect I.D. event for all high school graduating classes. On Sunday, August 17 high school prospects from all over the Chicago suburbs and beyond will convey on the campus of Saint Xavier in Chicago to be evaluated by the PBR Scouting Staff and more.
At last year’s event we saw C Wyatt Mascarella (Cary-Grove) and OF Ben Dickey (St. Viator) show well and go on to make Division 1 commitments to Illinois-Chicago and Northwestern, respectively.
This year’s event already features some of the top ranked players in the state including the highly athletic RHP Brett Smith (Shepard, 2015) and RHP Michael Schalasky (Brother Rice, 2015) who we've seen up to 88 mph earlier this summer.
