Central Illinois Open: Stats Posted

The  Central Illinois Open took place on August 16th at the Corn Crib in Normal, IL. The event featured over 40 uncommitted prospects and unveiled some of the top talent from the Central Illinois area.  

Wiry, 5-foot-10, 150-pound, two-way prospect Andrew Peters a 2017 from Morris HS sat 85-86 mph on the mound and also recorded the best infield velocity at 83 mph. Catcher Merrik Eddington from Mount Zion HS also a 2017, showed well, registering the highest exit velocity, best arm from the crouch and lowest pop times at the event.
