Capitol City Open: Preview and Rosters

The Capitol City Open is an open prospect identification event for all high school graduating classes. On Saturday September 13, 2014 prospects from the Springfield, IL area will gather on the campus of Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin for the inaugural Capitol City Open.
This event was specifically created for prospects in the Central and Southern Illinois areas, so that they can avoid the trip to Chicago for a Prep Baseball Report event.
Sacred Heart-Griffin's state of the art 112,000 square foot, $1.5 million dollar "field-turf" playing surface will host this year's event.

Spots are still available for the Capitol City Open, interested prospects should REGISTER HERE.
Check-in times for the Capitol City Open are as follows:
Position Players:
Check-in at 8:20– 8:40 am
Pitchers:
Check-in at 10:40 – 11:00 am
The showcase will begin promptly at 9:00 am with the 60 yard dash followed by offensive and defensive evaluations.
* Metal Spikes are NOT allowed on the field-turf playing surface. Please wear molded cleats or turf shoes.
