Evaluation: 8/7/16- 5-foot-9, 160-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. Small frame with athleticism. Controlled delivery, good balance, long clean arm action with extension and finish to plate. Fastball was 81-83 mph, tilted plane, with solid command to both sides of plate. Big break on 1/7 curveball thrown for strikes. Has hand speed on changeup; inducing hitters to chase, with solid fade. Above avg. ability to add/subtract fastball and being able to pitch. Body load, short to to contact, leans over plate occasionally, slashy swing plane, solid contact, mid/pull approach, 85 mph exit velocity. Plays fast in field with above avg. athletic actions, above avg. momentum through baseball, long clean arm action, quick release with accuracy, 88 mph arm strength.

LACEY: Wartburg, Luther, Upper Iowa, Concordia (Nebraska), Augustana (Illinois), Buena Vista, Simpson, Central, and Southwestern CC.
PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
LACEY: I have visited Wartburg, Luther, Upper Iowa, Augustana, Buena Vista, and Central and I plan on visiting Simpson and Concordia in the future.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?
LACEY: I am looking for a place where I can be happy while balancing schoolwork and development as a player.
PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
LACEY: Among many bright spots this season, I enjoyed throwing a one hitter in substate and sweeping Johnston. I also enjoyed receiving an all-district and all-conference awards.
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
LACEY: My main goal is to win state, but I also would like to go undefeated on the mound again and have another successful season at the plate.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
LACEY: I run cross country and track.
PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
LACEY: I have a 27 ACT.
