PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
KUHLMANN: Iowa Western, Iowa Central, NIACC, Heartland CC and other NAIA and community colleges.
PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
KUHLMANN: Yes, I plan on going on visits soon to Iowa Western, Iowa Central, NIACC, and Heartland.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
KUHLMANN: The things I am looking for is a certain academic program and being close to home are key to my decision. I am thinking about majoring in Sports Management or Education. Being geographically close to a college is something I am looking at also.
PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
KUHLMANN: My biggest highlight this year was throwing a no-hitter against East Sac County during the second round of the district tournament. Our team getting to the state tournament for the first time since 1979 and pitching at Principal Park.
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
KUHLMANN: My goals for this year are for me to try and go undefeated and lead the state in strikeouts once again. Another goal is to get down to Principal Park again and win a few games down there.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
KUHLMANN: I am also in Basketball and Track. This past year I got my 1000th point in basketball. In track I am at the top in the area in the shot put.
PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
KUHLMANN: My ACT was an 18 and my GPA is 3.4.
