PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?

ROBEOLTMAN: They first saw me at showcase as well WDM Valley game. The coaches came to tournaments when I was playing for Iowa Sticks and I was able to meet Coach Ali. Coach Ali kept in contact which helped develop our relationship.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

ROBEOLTMAN: Yes and feel I have played more relaxed after the decision was made.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

ROBEOLTMAN: Comfort level of the school and my confidence that they would prepare me for the next level.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

ROBEOLTMAN: Parents for believing & pushing for me. The coaching staff at Iowa Sticks- Mike Mahoney, Jason Pearson, Evan Romanchuk, Russ Fairfield and the coaches at WDM Valley- Ryan Cooley & Garrett Hawkins.

ROBEOLTMAN: To find a spot and role to help the team. Also to continue to build my strength and skills.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

ROBEOLTMAN: Getting the opportunity to play in a tournament in Phoenix, AZ this year where we competed against some of the top players in the country. Walking off the field knowing that I was at the same level as they all were was a feeling of accomplishment.

ROBEOLTMAN: Drew Prange from Ankeny Centennial. You know that if you hit the ball up the middle against him you aren't going to be safe at first.
